I’m doing this for another reason (weight loss), and no I don’t drink water.

Strangely enough I don’t feel a difference! I’m not less energetic at all but one thing I do have is a slight headache which I’m guessing stems either from dehydration or because of the water I was forced to drank a few days ago (before fasting, like one or two days before). I noticed that when I am forced to drink water, I always end up with a headache days later since I don’t drink it at all anymore.

Is it because of some water withdrawal symptoms? Does that even exist? Not sure, but I’ve noticed this happens. Normally I’m forced to drink water every few months but even then I just drink half a glass rather than an entire glass of water.

This is probably why you are getting headaches because your body is deficient in water and electrolytes

Well, I do drink soda and I drink chai, all the ingredients include water basically (maybe milk doesn’t but idk), I think that’s why I don’t have to rely on water. What do you think?

It’s alright to drink other liquids than water, but if I were you I would drink 15 cups of water per day(which is the recommended amount of daily water intake for an adult male)

Soda, milk, and chai contain water too but not as much as a regular water. So if you wanted to you could lower the amount of water drank per day from 15 to for example, 12 cups per day as long as you also drink other liquids

You’re kidding me, right? 15 cups of water a day? Goddamn just how many toilet visits would that translate to. I guess I’m really dehydrated then since I just don’t drink that much soda either.

In my experience when I didn’t used to drink much water versus now where I drink a lot of water, the increase in trips to the bathroom isn’t that much, but for me it’s worth it because I feel way better and don’t get any headaches

’m 5’10” or 5’11” (not entirely sure, don’t really care enough to see), I’m almost on day 5. I gotta say, for me the toughest days were the first two. Impressive that you did a 28 day water fast. Mine is not really a water fast since I drink whatever I want, so I call it drinkfasting instead. For instance, I drink chai, Coke Zero, etc. My weight was ~68 kg when I started (I had gone last year from 85 kg to 60 kg, then I stopped dieting and got around 62 kg, then because of Ramadan I ate way more than usual instead of OMAD, and I got to ~69 kg).

And haha thanks, going from 85 kg to 60 kg took me 4 or 5 months, I don’t remember. I actually managed to lose weight just by dieting, I did not exercise or walk.

No, I plan on eating tomorrow again, meaning when I wake up. In 20 minutes it’s gonna be 96 hours since I last ate (or possibly a bit longer). I plan to eat again after the 100 hour mark, but by that time I’ll already be going to sleep, so I’ll eat something small when I wake up.

I plan on doing OMAD again after this. Wow, you’re on day 8! Props, man. That’s amazing. I did 8 days once too but I was giga depressed so it wasn’t for leanmaxxing purposes.

No fucking thanks. I get thirstier way easier than hungry. Being dehydrated is worse than having an empty stomach.

Also insane the fact you were able to pass the 1 week mark, i would say around 7-10 days it gets kinda rough again, at least for me it did.

Only issue i hate about fasting is my fucking sleep, i legit can't sleep properly because of hunger hormones keep you awake i guess my brain dosent want me to ascend.

And nahhh i'm not doing better then you bro, i'm fucking on r/Water_Fasting for years whenever i fast LOL, it inspires me, check if out if you want or just for fun

yeah its like the newest adhd drug, I took it at 10 but it keeps getting stronger and last like 10 hrs and basically kills ur desire for food (and fapping too lol) I'm fat asf though so I like it also I actually have adhd so its just helpful in general

Last year I would incorporate drinkfasting in my first month, in total I didn’t eat for 10 days spread over 4 weeks. That helped a lot, afterwards I switched to OMAD, and I would only eat dinner. Either what was made at home (so Pakistani dishes) or I would order takeout (East Asian dishes, usually Korean fried chicken or sushi).

But I noticed with sushi I’d gain a lot of weight, I don’t know why that is. Maybe because of the type of rice and vinegar which has salt-like components which contributes to bloat. On top there would also be sauce haha. I didn’t necessarily eat big meals for OMAD because I was afraid I’d gain more than I wanted.

What about you, what do you eat for OMAD meals? I also cut off snacks completely, no more candy, chocolates, ice creams, Lay’s, etc. I kept that up for half a year before I decided to eat some of it every now and then.

Dudeeeee!!! Exactly, I’m so sleep-deprived, I don’t sleep much. It’s less than 5 hours a night. And falling asleep is a bit harder too. But I had no idea it was related to my dieting. Makes sense though now that I think about it.

Sure I’ll check out water_fasting; I don’t think I’ll be employing this tactic again (because I’ve done it so many times, first in 2019 and then in 2024 again and now this year). And you should give yourself more credit, what you do is so much harder!

like 200+ im not gonna leak weight but just know im giga obese, with this I might cut down to 140 though finally, idk how it works if u dont have adhd though but if you ever get a chance it doesnt hurt to try
