I have noticed a lot of Black male/racially ambiguous female couples recently.

These are all fat woman. Somewhere between 35 and 40 BMI a significant percentage of women become racially ambiguous. I suspect these are predominately lighter skin Black woman, and that their skin becomes lighter as the pigmentation is spread out over a greater surface area. Or maybe something else.
