You also need the right hair genetics, and need to take care of it as well.
It can turn some women off, but it drives other women crazy; essentially you have to choose between wider appeal with lower intensity, or narrower appeal with higher intensity. Medium length can be a happy medium between the two, I guess.

p.s. most of the guys you've posted have medium length hair.

This is factual. Every girl I've ever spoken to loves long haired men... now, short hair some women do prefer it, and really long hair like Jason Momoa some prefer it.

But commonly mid-length long hair is the favourite. I laugh at guys that go to the barber weekly to get shaved sides and back with short on top, the same look EVERYONE has. Then too long can look nerdy and feminine. They like it mid-length always, even if they say they don't, show them a collage of people.

A good example on this is David Beckham's favourite look viewed by girls.
