I have to eat clean low carb to looks good

If I eat high carb like oatmeal, pizza, noodle, cereal, pastries I will be so bloated facially

But if I eat half a cup of rice with alot of meats everyday my face is chiseled and looks very good



Is there anyone here cooking everyday and eating low carb? How hard to stick to it

I can't live without carbs and sugar. Despite this I don't experience much bloating, fortunately

Just lower your sodium and increase potassium, light salt or nosalt should do the trick. Also cardio first thing in the morning

Doesn't matter

I can eat low and very high sodium, no impact on my bloatness unlike carbs

That's because insulin makes the body stick to electrolytes, and since you're low carb there is no such signaling so your body just flushes the minerals off. Potassium is responsible mainly for intracellular osmotic effect, while sodium extracellular, so you if increase potassium and decrease sodium you'd be able to enjoy your carbs.

But I have tried consuming more potassium


Paradoxically it actually makes my facial puffiness worse

I switched recently from my weeknight diet of Salty French Quiche and American Big Cookies to a diet of Sweet Potatoes, Lightly cooked salmon and plain yogurt. I look better now

Can't tell if it was from the salt or the carbs, maybe a mixture of both, I'm probably both sodium and carbs sensitive

Salmon is delicious the way I cook it, I add butter and lemon on it. I love sweet potatoes, I mix them with garlic parsley, and salt substitute (and a bit of real salt)
