I guess I’ll just push my alarm clock back an hour or two. Or turn it off completely and see what time I wake up. Naturally. When I have 5 hours of sleep, or less than that, I always panic and overthink about how little sleep I will be getting, unable to fall asleep. It’s a vicious cycle.

try melatonin. I use it once a week to fix my sleep schedule cause i have to wake up at 5 am for work 3 days a week.

I think it's more about habits, melatonin can only do so much brother

Thanks for the suggestion. I actually have sleeping pills now, because I went to the doctor to get them, but I haven’t used them yet. Mirin that you’re able to get up at 5 AM for 3 days a week, I won’t be able to do that.

My sleeping habits have improved. It’s been a couple of days since I slept during the day. Normally I’d often sleep during the day, completely messing my night/day schedule.

i physically cant fall asleep before 2am. and i always try to get up early but i feel so heavy and sick in the morning that i just cant

Just be careful with those sleeping pills. A lot of them have pretty nasty long term side effects. Melatonin is a lot gentler on your health cause its a natural compound your body produces.

Why is that? And yeah, I try not to sleep too early because it just means I’ll wake up that much earlier. If I go to bed at midnight, I’ll wake up at 6 AM, for example.

You’re right, and I was actually surprised that the doctor prescribed me benzodiazepines for it. He said he didn’t want to give them to me, but he also said my situation was bad enough (the worst he’d heard of) that he gave me those anyway, without protesting.

5:18, I have to wake up at 9. 10-7job. 1 hour to get back to work, I love life :lul:

i normally get up around 8 because im most producive that way but sometimes i have to stay up late for different reasons and it completely fucks my circadian rhythm. ive been trying to get up early for the past couple weeks but i just cant get up

You’re right. That’s why I’m back in university now. I spent ten years as a NEET, from 2015 until 2025. I wasted my twenties away.

crazy man. I don't think I can handle 6 months more of this and I've only been a neet for 4 months

Oh, yeah. Being a NEET sounds good when you’ve never been one before. But after a few weeks, you’ll realize it’s really a special kind of hell. It has affected me in a lot of ways, so I understand now that it was a horrible period in my life. I’m turning my life around now. That’s why I’m back in university like I said. I hope I’ll be able to look for another job. I quit my previous job due to sleeping problems. :fuk:

Yeah, I didn’t touch my phone except for charging. I DNR’d my WhatsApp as well.

Stay one day without sleeping totally and go to sleep at like 00:00, that’s what I do when my sleeping schedule is fucked
