I have to give a psychometric test at work today

Today, I have to take a psychometric test along with a cognitive and general knowledge assessment at work. It’s something organized by the HR team probably part of some internal evaluation or skill-mapping initiative. I’m not too stressed about it. Just some boring test. I know I’ll kill it the math and aptitude section easy. but I’m expecting the history part to trip me up a bit I’ve never been great with dates and events. Still I’m curious to see how I perform overall and what insights they’re trying to gather with this.

I once argued with an HR foid over a logic test, it was some spacial rotation test. She told me I am wrong but I proved her right by drawing the shape on a piece of paper and rotating it the required number of times clockwise. I did not ger hired, but she had to concede. Stupid foid.

This is weird, I've never seen existing employees have to take any tests. Might be an American thing
