i have to lose 30lbs in a month

i made that shit up idk who those niggas are fr except @imontheloose is a racist nazi
He goes to Harvard university I think. He believes nazis did not kill any jews, that it's all a lie, but they did systematically kill slavs and would exterminate every single of them. The slavocaust was the goal this guy tells. Peculiar.

But he studies a History major there in Harvard and he told me his teachers teached him about how propaganda works and other stuff, and well I guess he must be right and I need to believe him.

I don't. I live in the UK. I go to Oxford. And I study Electrical Engineering, not history. I never said they didn't kill any Jews. The 1.5 million odd on the Eastern Front happened. I disagree with Auschwitz being a death camp. What are you trying to achieve, @Debetro?

Just telling @cromagnon what you do as a side hustle. I was at top uni and doing that major some years ago. I'm glad I realized it's oversaturated and AI will takeover so I left.

Really? How did you find it? AI fundamentally can't take engineering jobs as of now. I doubt it ever would in our lifetimes at least. Perhaps even ever. They lack that sort of intuition and creativity which makes the human mind so fascinating.

Last fellow EE student I knew was ey88. How far did you get into the degree?

It's my intuition. UBI will be a thing by 2030.

If your hope is to get rich. I don't think it will be possible. The future is owning nothing, the WEF says.

I didn't reach anywhere, went to class 1 week and left because I didn't want to put time on something I dislike. Mind you it wasn't Oxford or some university like that. I exaggerated.

I think Ey88 wasn't in EE. He was in ME, wanted to change to EE the next year but then dropped out. Now works with his father somewhere.

I see. I think the talk about AI is very interesting. It really could change sporadically in any direction. We have progressed so much in engineering the past century, it really is insane. I genuinely do think human intuition simply cannot be replicated. Even with insane engineering. We will agree-to-disagree.

Fair enough on dropping out. I believe here the dropout rate is some 50%??? Insane. It is a tough degree, and if you don't like it, you definitely did the right thing. Sticking out a degree like that will be horrible.

I'm pretty sure he was EE. We spoke about it a bit. Believe he's doing construction now last time I saw. Good on him.

you aint gonna maintain shit with 1k cal a day
most folks are gonna need 1800-2k calories to maintain. If your feeling hungry before bed drink some carrot juice very low in calories and has vitamins or drink water.

bro did you see the videos that can be made by ai now? wait 2 years and all creative work industries are dying

That is your opinion. I’ve worked with these AIs and I know how they are. They’re pretty cool. But they aren’t these magical beasts Musk tries to promote.

I am strictly speaking about more valuable topics than video creation. All AI does for videos and photos is get stock images it can find and merges them. It’s why until about a month ago, AI couldn’t create an image of a full glass of wine. It was a well-known meme.

So how long until ai replaces most creative work jobs

By 2030 we will have essentially semi-autonomous campaigns. Probably 50% of junior creative positions like entry-level design, routine editing, basic copywriting would probably be re-skilled by AI by then. BUT, senior strategists and directors, the main stars, will still be needed.

By the most optimistic standards, by about 2030 only roughly 30% of total knowledge work hours would be assisted by AI, according to McKinsey and he assumed massive breakthroughs in science.

A full replacement is unlikely for a while. AI relies too much on stock images. They can’t “imagine” like the human brain can. They just merge images together. You still need a human artist to finalise it. Plus, the human creativity is so unique. People value it. You’d be super surprised. In maybe 15 years, 2040, we will have most of them things in the creative sector done, but trust me, that is so optimistic and would take huge breakthroughs in our understanding of human consciousness and neurochemistry.

Until AI can truly model the physics of glass and the psychology of humans rather than remixing pixels and tokens (how AI works), it’ll stay a powerful tool to automate tasks, not replace the overall work. It cannot ever beat human creativity as boring as it sounds.
