talking to ppl irl in general makes me feel extreme dread

exchanging niceties with ppl is no longer something i can do

it didnt seem like never really socializing with ppl srsly outside ur little clique of aspie friends is actually something that causes major problems

Same! 2020 was the catalyst for me. I’ve slowly lost all my social skills and I have zero interest in socializing. I don’t feel lonely because I don’t want to socialize with people and get my socializing needs met by this forum and my family.

None of this is healthy but this is the big problem when socially retreating. You learn to enjoy your company and the thought of socializing and the hell that it comes with is dreadful.
