Im 18 and started a part-time job on top of university to save up for plastic surgery because I knew there was no way my 50 year old middle-eastern dad would be willing to pay despite having the financial capabilities. But through seeing me work hard on top of taking my studies seriously, he realized how much improving my appearance means to me. We had a conversation and I told him how I was having a hard time with the way I looked and struggling with being confident and he understood. I get to keep the money I've saved up and hes willing to pay out of pocket for my genioplasty and rhinoplasty once my school year ends. I've got consultations with a few surgeons booked. Life is looking up

Also I think a big part of his decision was seeing me put work in the gym and after 3 months hes noticed a major change in my physique. I used to be skinny and weak looking, but now I have some real muscle and a man's frame. I think once you show your parents how serious you are, they take your reasons for surgery more seriously.

Yeah bro im doing skincare, gym, growing my hair out. I wish there was more I could do about my eyes, but everything ive read seems like cope.
