I have written 0 research papers

Is this something that will hinder my growth later on? I've noticed in the U.S most students from prestigious unis have atleast written 2-3 research papers which were later published in some journal and got accepted in conference. That kind of research culture doesn't exist in my uni. Like my uni does havd public research papers but it's generally PhD students that write them not us undergrads. Is this worrying? Should I approach a professor and do one?

It does, you’re correct. I haven’t written any, not yet. Don’t plan on any as of now, but I’m open to the idea in hopes of discovery. I’m a curious, adventurous soul.

I've heard many masters program in the Europe even expect the people that apply to have some research experience. The US is ahead of everyone in Research work tbh I learnt about this there. They have something called REUs which is Research Experiences for Undergraduates. It's a program in the U.S. funded mainly by NSF National Science Foundation that gives UGs paid research opportunities and access to cutting edge technology like millions of dollars worth of equipment at their disposal

100% definitely try. if its phd students in ur uni, u should approach them and ask about it. u should make the most of uni to ur ability
obviously think about what it will be heavily and what u try to achieve.

Ive actually been a part of one, at least it had my name on it, it was about the correlation between strength and the capacity of throwing an object, I just got the data tho (had to call a bunch of schools to bring the students to the university and administrate the tests) the actual research I let the nerds do it.
