I haven’t gone to a dentist in 15 years

The reason we cannot use roids in accordance to Islam is because of the idea of altering God’s creation. Using something artificial (even if it was created by people) to look better is the reason why roids and plastic surgery aren’t permissible.

That’s crazy expensive. Here, you’re legally required to have insurance, but the most basic one is like €123 per month, so you’re paying €1476 per year, but I think they also give you back the money if you aren’t using it. I could be wrong about that but I get the same amount of money on my bank every month.

That’s different, yes. If it’s not roids. Even rhinoplasty becomes permissible as long as you’re not doing it for health reasons. Some people need it to be able to breathe properly through their nose.

Yeah wow, better system. in the US you have to pay almost like its preemptive. They don't give you anything back. Basic plans in the US are like 500$ :lul:

well its probablly debatable and depends on who you ask

-you get it prescribed by a doctor
-it dosent really change your appearance you just loose weight
-its not really unhealthy

idk just a random recomandation
(obv not trying to convince you fi youre aiganst it)

From what you’re telling me and from what I heard from another American (friend), the healthcare industry is more like a straight-up business. It’s crazy what I hear.

I suppose that would be fine then, yes. And no worries, I wouldn’t mind even if you were trying to convince me. From the way you describe it, it actually doesn’t sound bad at all.

didn’t you just say it was a root canal, and I icl I haven’t been to a dentist ever and my teeth are fine, I js don’t like sweet things and I got lucky with my teeth expect for the one chipped tooth

It’s not, I thought I’d hear way worse. It’s quite surprising. And no, I haven’t had a root canal yet. I am scheduled to have one. Weeks from now.

Yes, it’s one of the worst pains I’ve ever felt.

And well we can argue that your physique is also fixed/limited and what you gain from roids is beyond that.

I wouldn’t call myself super religious from the way I don’t pray but I do stick to most of the principles.

Last time I had a bunch of cavities and after they were done they grinded the enamel down to nearly nothing so now my teeth are equivalent to a 60-year-old and I live in a world of pain numbed for a few hours at a time with sensodyne. And I'd dealt with it for awhile but today I had a root canal to fix pain that was worse than it'd ever been, and stopped me from doing anything that shocks my head like running for example. Felt like my tooth was falling out to do that.

Feels better now, and I have work insurance to cover it, but now they got me by the balls and I have more appts I have to go to now, because the root canal is only part 1 done. And I fear I may lose my insurance if work doesn't like that I want to transfer and just fires me instead, but we'll find out later
