I haven't played sports in 5 year

Last time I played sports was before Covid holy shit. Ngl the reason I stopped wa because my dad was such a fucking asshole with it. Either way I'm not genetically gifted enough to do it anymore but damn. I remember when I was in 8th grade my dad told to me join sports teams so I could make friends and I jsut wanted to tell him to fuck off, every fucking person in his family was pressuring me but I didn't join at least. Now I'm guessing they've accepted im a gymcel and that replaces sportsball. Last time anyone mentioned me joining a sports team was in like 9th grade thank God.

He would get mad and scream at me if I didn't play like he wanted. If I passed the ball instead of shooting or if I shot a 3 he'd go on a tantrum after the game in the car. I remember I was also very shy and he'd get passed at me for not talking much to the other kids

I assume youre american, soccer is played mostly by hispanics. I don't think theres much competition to it if you live in a white majority place. The main sports, baseball, football, and basketball, people start playing them at 4 years old and theres many who want to join the teams

Yeah I haven’t played sports in ages dude, I used to be really into football but I was never that good at it so I quit playing it

Tbh I think sports are kinda overrated after secondary school anyway, gymceling more simple

I can see why they might be fun to play organized. But a lot of people take it too far. Especially parents if youre a minor
