Last time I was in Belgium I stayed in Antwerp and expected average height to be on par with Amsterdam but it was nowhere near
Now I am in Brussels and it seems even shorter than Antwerp on average, despite having less ethnics.
This means that women here don't select for tall men which means their cutoff for shortness is much lower which means I have to compete with 5'8 guys for the same pussy that I wouldn't have had to compete with in a tall city

It's the opposite. Most guys are happy to be friends with dudes who have good characteristics like height, an attractive face, money, charisma etc because it affirms their own status and translates to more girls around them. No one's going to outcast you for being tall
