Your claim is not true. Women do not out earn men overall. Only in specific fields, although the gap is closing as more opportunities via “female empowerment” are being provided.

STEM fields are becoming notorious for this and women are outnumbering men in post secondary education, as men are more likely to take other things outside university such as trades, etc.
