1. Why would the mother want some posts taken down and not all of them how would they know you can't take down all of them, this makes the paranoia theory likely as she says to take down the posts relating to her son
2. There are some contradictions you say he stopped posting 2 months ago but the message says he only died a few days ago how would she know to check this unless she went back 2 months into her son's search history which I find unlikely
3. I'm a grey so there might be some way I'm unaware of but how would she know your a mod and to message you

Yeah people weren’t nice to him. So when he roped I implemented a new rule for ratings: no low effort posts. Constructive criticism was a must. It helped, place was much cleaner. However admins said I wasn’t allowed to do that, and that it’s just part of the forum culture so unfortunately the rule didn’t stay in place for longer than a year.
