I’m not sure on the exact timing but it’s pretty clear there’s gonna be a financial crash.

The Japanese carry trade is imploding, China liquidated 688 billion dollars of U.S bonds, gold and silver are skyrocketing which is obviously do to nations wanting to dump the U.S dollar as the reserve currency.

What you’re saying makes sense if the dollar was this neutral asset but it’s been repeatedly weaponized by the U.S at the expense of other nations.

So it becomes pretty clear that nations may choose to take on the potential negative effects to avoid being held hostage essentially while they build a new financial system

This is only being made worse as this new administration is driving U.S allies away. China and
Russia already settle 99% of trade between themselves in national currencies.

Gold and silver have been skyrocketing and people already speculate that the real reason Venezuela was invaded was to control energy so that the U.S public doesn’t notice inflation as much.

The precedent has changed the dollar isn’t seen as this neutral asset anymore by nations but as something which the U.S has weaponized.

As such nations are becoming more willing to deal with the negative effects of de-dollarization. This isn’t even theoretical it’s literally happening China and Russia already settle 99% of trade between themselves without dollars
