The reason it's gotten "worse" for off topic section and the site as a whole is because there are less jesters and people that show irl. The most popular users are those who have shown face and their dating/sex life through stories, screenshots etc.
The threat of doxxing and exposing people and their posts to their irl peers could mean social and financial suicide. If that happens people lives could become incredibly shit very quick, potentially leading to real suicide. For example @Short Ugly and Brown was exposed to irl and @MakinItHappen is now on Tik Tok.
Ofc everyone knows that, so the smart ones dont post face or controversial threads. So basically everything has become theory on the site with no infield or real proof from irl interactions. Theory is boring and often baseless, practical is entertaining and backed with proof.
