He's been asking for it for a while now, even trying to get his wife to split the bill between her and I, but I tell him to buy one himself because he's recently gotten a new job and not to leech off of others. That I won't be giving him anything. I'm saying it to destroy his hopes completely and then surprise him to make him even happier than if I were to say "Sure, I'll buy you one." I placed an order nearly an hour ago. It costs $650 normally but there's a discount so I paid $505. It should arrive later this week.

If he truly forgives you for you past wrongdoings learn to let go of it. Its best not to keep a burden of regret as it could devastate your relationship with him and your own mental.

If he doesn't, remember to yourself at least that you aren't that evil person you were as changed and you've changed.

Yes, I did drop out but I do part-time now, which doesn't get you student loans. So by LARPing as a full-time student, I get student loans. Otherwise I wouldn't even be able to pay for college. It's a necessary evil.
