i think the form was a bit off, but it was nice.

only did 2 machines one bicep curls then 30 min cycling

That’s nice. If you only started going to the gym, try doing full body 3-4 times per week and don’t train anywhere near failure for now. Once your body gets used to this, you can experiment with the weights and, if you want, after one or a few months slowly switch to a split (like back and triceps, chest and biceps, etc). This will help your body recover properly and progress due to the regular stimulus on the muscles
It would also be good to start paying attention to your nutrition, keeping your protein and carbs high. It all depends on your goal — whether you want to gain muscle mass or lose fat. Keep going
