I got successful in distracting myself by getting busy. I’m running on <4 hours of sleep yet I’m far away from home on a trip with friends driving my car navigating through scenic roads.
I’m a little drunk as I type this and the derealization is a little more when you really think about it.
The problem only comes when you have anxiety on your own syndrome. I don’t.
For people wondering what’s this - imagine wearing a VR headset that you can’t take off. You are living your daily life through a glass. You will be anxious on how to live this life for once but as time passes and as you really get busy with daily activities….your mind gets accustomed to the VR glass and soon enough you’ll stop thinking there’s a transparent glass between you and reality and you’ll just live your life.
