I just don’t get it

4th year in highschool, no friends (more so acquaintances) nothing more than a singular conversation with the opposite sex, how do people do it?

There’s this guy I see on the bus, goes to my school, same height as me, same skin tone as me, same fashion sense (somewhat), and looks wise, I don’t know, but he just looks average facially, or even below average.

This guy doesn’t blow me out of the water, we’re not far apart yet I always see this guy with his girlfriend just hugging her, and he probably has a whole friend group too

He’s not much different than me and my fucking teenage years are being wasted alone, unlike him, even though I want anything BUT to be alone

I don’t get it dude, maybe I’m too quiet and don’t speak or display my personality, maybe there truly is a wide disparity between our looks, but I just don’t get it

Regardless, my life is TOO fucked up to even entertain the idea of a girlfriend. That being said, I still desperately want friends, and a female friend. Going to a new school soon, hope it’s not the same routine where I’m just alone all day.

a lot of your status in school is determined by who you started as friends with

if you were quiet as a kid it will probably stay that way and people will generally think of you as the weird quiet one who doesnt talk to anyone esp if you are ~hltn

but also effort will help, even at where you are now
