Long story short this L-MTB been coming at my gym timings since weeks now. We never really talked, alternated sets in machines or anything. Sometimes whenever I enter the gym, she stares for a sec, takes a good look at me and at other days it seems like she’s not bothered at all.

Day before yesterday she somehow came up with a good “hiii” kind of smile at my face and I smiled back but I was getting late for some business so I lowkey had to dip the gym lobby fast without initiating a convo with her. Yesterday I decided to finish what she wanted to start and I saw her near me so I did ‘wassup,’ and somehow like a confusing awkward person she was, she was startled and there was surprise in her face, almost like she was talking to a person she’s never seen before and did a very awkward smile and I had to carry the convo for a minute to get her started and she’s like “uhmm yeah I do see you in the gym now and then too ig” I mean girl? You just said a hi and came upto me yesterday in this same fucking lobby.

Anyways fast forward today, I entered the gym and near the squat rack I see her again and I did a downward nod and immediately she was full with enthusiasm I could see her eyes light up “how are you doing” she asked and I said “all good since yesterday” since we met. I move to the calf raise machine at the other side of the gym ASAP since I wasn’t a fan of our last kinda dull convo cause I don’t give a chance for women with no personality and I see her there again but wait a minute! How did you get here faster than me!? And more importantly just now you were wearing a red sports bra but all of a sudden how did you change it to green?

There’s also no pimple on the right cheek so I highkey thought something’s wrong and looked back extending my neck up and the girl I said hi a while ago is still there at the squat rack wearing the red sports bra! Just when I was about to turn back straight I feel two fingers poking my shoulders “hey how are you” and this green bra one is genuinely smiling rn since this was the one I myself approached and initiated convo with.

Now I’m friends with the one who ignored me all these days whereas I straight up just ignored the girl who genuinely was interested in me. Shieeet it should be mandatory by law for identical twins to mark themselves ffs. I went back straight to the locker room after finishing my convo with my new friend which was apparently supposed to be the other one. It was leg day anyway so fuck it and now I’m typing ts in da locker room crine.
