Not yet — and these weren’t any students. Teachers aren’t allowed to do anything back, mind you. That’s the quickest way to get fired and have your teacher license stripped (probably). They run background checks, having a criminal record is bad. Though I guess it depends on the record. If you’re caught with financial fraud, you can still teach. Not sure about physical fights, but I’m guessing they would label me as a danger and prone to violence, which they wouldn’t want a teacher to be.
