Source? Where are you getting this from? Evola’s ideas were different than Mussolini and evola was legit fully opposed to any post enlightenment idea. That racial doctrine was more of a spiritual doctrine which evola claimed was about having an Aryan aristocratic hyperborean spirit.

I read a fair amount of biographical info about Evola when I was interested in his ideas a long time ago. Long story short, he didn't always "discover" a bunch of ancient esoteric truths to form his philosophy, he would often just make things up and present that as "Tradition." His doctrine of race is a prime example of this. I don't remember specific books, it's been a while.

Evola’s ideas were different than Mussolini and evola was legit fully opposed to any post enlightenment idea.

Mussolini and Evola were personally acquainted and on good terms. Mussolini referred to Evola personally as "The Baron." During the fascist period in Italy, Evola would cater his writings to the fascist party to try and influence them in his own direction.
