One of the most vital parts in being NT is communication.
usually you tell a story out of your life. Now a trick to not have that awkward silence is to not tell the story all at once.
for example you failed a test cuz you cheated.
Now a non nt communication would be to simply say everything in detail out right. But that’s weird. Throw bones. Like he asks you „what did you get in the test for a grade?“.
now instead of telling the full story you answer „oh nothing. I failed“. Now the dude has two options. He can ask why you failed, then you can go further and throw more bones. Allow the partner to ask questions. Or if he doesn’t ask any follow up question you know he doesn’t care. No point in communication then. Find a easy way out of the convo.
