It’s alright, not bad — but not good, either. Might get it more often in the future. Or make it myself. Just wanted to try it from an actual Korean restaurant first, so I can compare with my own homemade version later on.

It’s pretty nice and spicy. It’s more famous and popular for its health benefits rather than taste.

oh, i love korean food:chad:

Why are spices good for your gut bud?
It’s not the spices, it’s because it’s fermented. Apparently, fermented food is good for your gut biome or however you say that.

It tastes rly nice to
I ate those kimchi-flavored noodles before and I really liked those, after eating kimchi I now know that they are doing a good job, those noodle-making people. It tastes extremely similar.

Brutal. Well, for what it’s worth— I’m Pakistani, and not even I can handle food that is very spicy. I can handle some spice, though. I’m always complaining about food other Pakistanis make because they tend to make it spicier than what I’m used to.

I will! I’ve never had it before. I’m leanmaxxing at the moment but also when I’m not as poor anymore, and I think I should eat something I’ve never had before, then I will visit a place like that. I used to eat a lot of boneless chicken (dakgangjeong) from a local Korean restaurant though. I loved it. :Comfy:

Funnily enough, I never had butter chicken at home, so I ordered from some pajeet place and yeah, shit’s good, too. They add too much oil for my liking, though. My blasian friend loves butter chicken, he orders it all the time when I come visit. Maybe from a cuisine point of view, butter chicken is better; but it’s what gives pajeets that stinky smell, whereas kimchi has good health benefits. Butter chicken is pretty much unhealthy (aside from the protein overload).

I make my own Sauerkraut now. I eat it raw almost everyday (small portion)

I want to try to make Kimchi in the future. I've never eaten Kimchi but I suppose I will like it.

I always try to improve my gut microbiome.

Fair enough. You’re neutral, then. Maybe you can make up your mind after eating it more.

Nice, leanmaxxing sounds like a solid plan! And yeah, once you’re not as strapped for cash, trying new places is always a vibe. Dakgangjeong is such a classic though, hard to beat. The crispy and sweet combo is next-level. Hope you get to try something new soon!

True yeah, butter chicken can definitely be heavy on the oil sometimes, but it's still so tasty! I get what you mean though kimchi’s got those health benefits, and it’s pretty much the opposite of that greasy vibe. Your friend’s got good taste though fr butter chicken's hard to beat, even if it’s not the healthiest. Balance, right

Never heard of sauerkraut but sounds like it means “sour spice” (based on my malfunctioning Dutch to German inner translator). Kimchi is probably fairly easy to make, but is time-consuming. Look up some recipes online! Not sure if all kimchi is supposed to be spicy, but if you dig spicy stuff then you maybe will like it.

Yeah, I’m not even overweight; I already went from 87.5 kg to 60 kg, but then after I quit, I got up to 65 kg. I want to stay on the safe side, so I decided to start leanmaxxing again. I’m now around 61 kg, but I still want to lose some more. Haha I always get the sweet and spicy combo, it’s way better than butter chicken. IMO.

It’s definitely somewhat spicy; but not spicy af, but I guess if you’re European and not used to spicy food, then yeah it’s spicy af.

Wow, that's some serious progress 87.5 kg to 61 kg is no joke! Leanmaxxing again sounds like a good move. And yeah, the sweet and spicy combo definitely hits different butter chicken can be a bit too rich sometimes. Keep up the grind though you’re doing great!

I was eating it plain but I like it. :Comfy: I was only interested in trying kimchi but I also bought another dish, don’t know the name but it was sorta like sushi. I think @Lord Shadow might know.

Sounds like you might've tried kimbap? it’s kind of like sushi but usually with cooked ingredients like veggies, egg, and sometimes meat, all rolled up in rice and seaweed. It’s super good though I love it one of my favorite Korean foods

Either I’m confusing you for someone else, but weren’t you recently banned? Did we have a discussion about pheromones? Anyway, I think it’s pretty funny how I’m a Pakistani Punjabi but I never had butter chicken at home even though it was invented by Pakistani-born Punjabis (who moved to India). :feelskek: If I had to choose between that Korean dish (not kimchi, the other one) and butter chicken, I’m picking the Korean one. :Comfy:

Thank you! Much appreciated. It definitely wasn’t easy but I managed to do it through diet alone, no exercising or anything. :Comfy:

Yes, kimbap! That’s the one. I was going to order sushi from a local Chinese restaurant but then I realized I wanted to try kimchi, and then I decided to try that. So I ordered both. I bought the one with chicken. I liked it, but the only thing I didn’t were the little bits of.. uh, seeds that they added as well. Other than that, it was good, I can see why you love it. :Comfy:

Constipation means you need more fiber. Drink orange juice and have some slices of bread.

Lol yeah I think we did talk about pheromones before last week i think, but yeah I did get banned recently (self-ban). As for the butter chicken thing tho that’s a pretty crazy plot twist being Punjabi and never having it at home lmao but I totally get you on picking the Korean dish over butter chicken. Kimbap is such vibe light, & tasty it just hits differently than butter chicken sometimes. Guess it really comes down to what you're in the mood for! :Comfy:

Good to hear it was requested, I thought you had gotten a temporary ban due to a warning or something. I think the reason we never had it at home is because it says on wiki that they accidentally invented it or something. :feelskek: What’s your favorite Korean dish? And completely agreed, bhai. :Comfy:
