I'll probably do an experiment when I get my hair system where I'll just approach girls at a festival and admit it right away just to watch their reactions.
Alright I went to a 1day psytrance festival yesterday wearing a hair system, and here's what happened.
  • Prior to the festival, I actually had a massive accident where the hair system lifted and completely fell off because the tape couldn't cure properly, thus leading to me having to 'panic reinstall' it 3 hours before the festival.
  • I cleaned my scalp like 3 times before reinstalling it, and on the train ride to the festival, I pressed down a lot on the front the entire time to ensure that the tape would cure properly ths time.
  • I did use a bandana to hide the hairline and to also keep pressing down on the front to let the tape cure some more during the festival.
  • The important part: While dancing, I did become a bit self-conscious of my hair system and I didn't really do any sort of intense moves. However, I could still do a bit of headbanging, swaying, twirling and playing with my hair without any issues or lifts!
  • With around half of the girls I talked to at the festival, I also literally admitted to wearing a hair system. Nobody really called me out, and reactions ranged from "Oh okay, that's fine I guess" to "No way?! That's fake hair? Can I feel it? It looks so real!"
    • I didn't really notice the 'test group' (the ones who I told that I was wearing a hair system) acting much different from the 'control group'. But groups hugged equally hard or talked in the same manner.
  • It is currently the next day, and my hair system is glued down even tighter than it was before because the system had time to cure, even in 25 degrees celsius and sweating.
Verdict: “Hair systems are viable in high-stress social environments if combined with smart styling (e.g., bandana), and disclosure does not significantly reduce attraction in boho/alternative niches.” (thanks ChatGPT)

Bald vs closeup vs with bandana. Yes, I am aware that I still need to lose weight and get chin fillers/surgery to look better, but this is about hair itself and nichemaxxing potential not about the weight/chin. In the second picture it is a bit obvious that I'm wearing a system but only if you really know what to look for.

Hippie/boho girls do like the 'freestyle long hair' on guys though, they're not really into stuff like 'neat clean fades', but I do see what you mean. I eventually want to get it styled a bit better and use some sea salt spray and mouses to really give it some extra texture. I have another consultation with my clinic on Thursday so I'll see if I can do that with my current hair
I do also guess the beard needs to be shorter, to around 2-3mm? It's currently 6-7mm (funny number)
