At the ripe age of 22 and some change, I finally found out what it was like to lock lips and hold hands with a girl. We used to know each other back when we were little kids, but they bought an apartment 2 weeks ago , about a 5 minute walk from where I live. We hanged out twice during this period and the first one was a disaster, we could barely talk about anything and it was a really cringy and awkward.
The second time, however , went pretty good and I started to feel as if she likes me. I asked her out earlier today to watch a movie at my place and while it did take about 15 mins of me trying to overcome my insane anxiety of putting my hand over her shoulder, I did it and while talking about random stuff I leaned in for the kiss and I couldn't believe what happened- I was making out with a girl and it felt really weird, I don't know how to describe it tbh. She then leaned her head on my shoulder and we talked about our hs years while making out for a few mins here and then.
It started getting late and I had to walk her home and I held her hand while doing so. Unfortunately, when we came back to her place, she took her hand back and told me that it just couldn't work out because of our age difference( she's 17), it would only last a few weeks(I do agree on that) and that it was best to forget about it. I said it's okay and while walking back home I felt this intense sense of relief, like If I had to kiss another girl I would somewhat have an idea how to do it and I no longer feel like an asexual failure.
To all my kissless hand-holdless virgins, do your best to take any chances you have in life and don't worry about her not showing obvious signs she likes you(this won't happen unless she's a slut or you're a Chad)- if she agreed to go to your home and watch a movie, she is 100 % down to at least make out so don't be a little bitch and go in for the kiss- you'll thank me later.
