A lot of guys who grow their hair long are usually social rejects with poor hygiene who would look bad regardless, so I'm not really surprised.

That's all anecdotal evidence by the way, I suspect heavily skewed by some kind of confirmation bias since you've been posting stuff like this about long hair on men for weeks. What I mean by that is that when you have a specific idea in your mind it becomes easy to shape reality around you to reinforce it: for example, once men start to go bald they suddenly notice how many other men are going bald. There is no difference between the amount of balding men in the world, they just become subconsciously easier to detect for the individual.

Gotta use this AGAIN.

I’m convincing myself that my issues are largely related to my hair in an effort to have enough willpower to cut it. Since I feel affection for it but I don’t want to be socially outcasted

I've told you once and I'll tell you again.
Keeping an hairstyle you don't feel confident in just makes absolutely no sense.
Style should make you feel good and make your life easier, not harder.
If having long hair makes you uncomfortable, or you aren't sure about keeping it, you're better off cutting it and seeing if you enjoy short hair more. If you cut it and see your life improve drastically, keep it short.

I honestly also think that long hair on men is a style statement that requires some confidence to be pulled off. If you start babbling and blushing just because someone makes fun of you for "having girl hair" or whatever, you are not cut for a non-traditional look regardless of how good it looks on you.

Yeah I’m not sure if when girls complain about it it is a shit test or them being honest.

Some girls legit dislike long hair on men, but they're a lot less than one would think and even then it's never a deal breaker if the guy is otherwise attractive. Even in the worst case, they're going to say something like: "yeah he looks good but he'd look even better with short hair", but even girls who are initially repulsed by long hair usually end up appreciating it after a while as long as you bring other things to the table.

That's because some girls dislike long hair for reasons that aren't related to aesthetics, but their own ideas about femininity: if men start wearing their hair long and have better looking hair than girls, then that's one less thing that girls can use to feel beautiful and feminine. In a certain way, females want to feel as feminine as possible and since modern society equates short hair with masculinity and long hair with femininity, it goes without saying that they have conflicting feelings about a guy they like who's also sporting long hair. It feels like that man is violating a domain that should be women's, and that is strangely uncomfortable for some girls.

That's just a relatively small part of the female population, mind you. Personally, I've noticed that guys who have long hair are usually considered extremely attractive or extremely unattractive. I think in some kind of weird way long hair is kind of a looks amplifier, i.e. it makes handsome men more handsome and ugly men uglier.

All good points but I’ve made the point before that things we can change stylistically are indicators of our social status.

a mullet isn’t inherently an ugly hairstyle. For example I’d rather a girl have a mullet than a buzz cut or a fade.

but a woman will always pick a buzz or fade over a mullet on a man because of its negative social implications.

Nahh fam long hair is pretty much never a halo
Chads can get away with it because Chad can get away with everything, but most girls will say shorter hair is better. (And you don’t see them dating long haired dudes either)

And I mean long like female/head banger length, not like male model long but under shoulder length stuff, that length can be a halo

That does make sense, it's somewhat similar to the moustache question.
Most women think they're creepy, however, they really don't mind it when it's on a gigachad like Henry Cavill, and certainly moustaches don't necessarily entail creepiness per se.
I'd argue that things like long hair and moustaches only truly make someone look less desirable when said trait is accompanied by other traits that are associated with a stereotype.

For example, long hair on a sharply-dressed confident man gives him a somewhat aristocratic elegance which distracts from the hippie stereotype which may make him look less desirable. Long hair on a sketchy-looking, poorly dressed man with an ungroomed beard has a completely different vibe, and in that specific case the long hair is instrumental in forming a prejudice.

It's a double-edged sword. We as humans are neurologically programmed to assume things based on first impressions, it can't be helped. It can also be something you can play with, though. If you make a good impression, nonconventional traits can become something that makes you more memorable and unique.

welp good for me then im 6 psl lmfao

All the bald slayers I know are on enough gear to feed 20 keto dietiers for a week. The older bald guys are married for a long time or have ugly af girls who are way past 25 and therefore too old for me.

There's a niche of girls who likes long hair + trends in hairstyle often change.

On the other hand, low class girls often HATE long hair.

Niche of girls who like long hair, vast majority dislike long hair or would rather the hair be short, and a small subset who actively hate long hair.

(X) doubt that it’s low class girls who hate long hair though, sounds like trailer park cope tbh ngl
Low class girls all have dads with mullets they’d love that look

Well I dunno where you live but in France I assure you most low class girls hate medium / long hairs, especially in south of france.
