Mirin ngl. When did you start learning? I learnt some kanji in the past but forgot a lot. Now im learning them again. I will start focusing on speaking. Listening is my strength since i can understand videos in japanese that arent too complex.

I don’t remember, but I picked it up basically when I was listening to jpop. I am able to read along with the lyrics, and can even identify the lyrics if the song is already midway through. I plan on focusing on vocabulary first, and grammar later. I already went through grammar first but I don’t really get it yet, except for a few basics so I’ll just continue with what I think is more important to know. Hmm. Reading is my strength as opposed to listening, but I need to up my listening skills as well. Since my ultimate goal was to watch Japanese horror movies without the use of any subtitles. I’ve got a loooooong way to go. But I’ve been slacking since the last few months I’ve done nothing whatsoever. Imagine if I’d been doing it still, then I’d be probably N4 level by now, on my way to N3. But now I’m still at N5 level.
