i was talking with my girlfriend a few days ago about middle school, and i was surprised about how much she remembered, like stuff she did, her friends, social dynamics, people she liked, didnt like, specific stories about stuff that happened

and i was like "thats crazy i dont remember any of that, i was like, a child in middle school"

then i really thought about it later and realized its cause i literally had no friends and all i did was go to school, get bullied, then come home and played video games for 6 hours
