Thinking about it is hard to say otherwise, I have an OCD like obsession with doing things correctly. I have a strong desire to strategize and to find out the many ways I can accomplish my goals. I have a strong desire to develop systems to optimize my performance. I think about things in a meta sense. I like philosophy so I will be able to approach my training with a degree of mental acuity that most fighter can't. I am obsessed with understanding the nuances of everything that I study and I think about things in a goals, limits, conditions, probability sense so I will be able be a lot more incisive than my competitors and as a result be able to adapt to different fighters a lot better.
I am already quite explosive, I have a 28 inch vertical leap, bench press 225 for 3 reps, I barely workout, and I hit pretty damn hard as well. So they explosiveness/athleticism is there.
If I train in the gym and I trained MMA for a couple of years I would put fuckers on the canvas with consistency. I promise you this.
I don't want a trainer though, I feel like they would fuck up what I have in mind. I want to learn how to do a lot of it myself, especially striking.
