I hate admitting this but I can’t stop. Every time I’m home every time I’m about to sleep I keep smelling that stupid tshirt she gave back. It’s like I’m addicted to it. I know how pathetic it sounds like some creep clinging to scraps but I can’t help it. It’s the only thing that feels like proof she even acknowledged me at all. The scent’s fading already but I still breathe it in like it’s oxygen like maybe if I hold onto it long enough I won’t feel as empty.
