I like a girl at a restaurant and I want to get her number but I don’t know when she works

Some weeks ago I was at a restaurant with a friend just chatting and this girl waiting tables came over to ours to take our order when I noticed she was really cute. I stared a bit at her and a while later I noticed from the corner of my eye she was looking at me too I think. I really felt some chemicals going though my body. But unfortunately I didn’t do anything. I was with this friend and I thought if I say anything I will embarrass myself so after a while we just left, very stupid of me. Anyway on my way home I realized my mistake and since it was on a Sunday I thought I should just go again some time on another Sunday as she might be working again. But unfortunately I have gone twice since and she was never there. As you can imagine I can’t just go there all the time checking if one girl is working as that’s a bit creepy I think. And if she’s not there I’m there for no reason just wasting my money. On the other hand it could be she was off recently because of some vacation. For now I think I might go again sometimes but not too often to not make it weird. And think of this: if she is working again I could say something like “oh you’re serving or table again” and gauge her response: if she indeed recognizes me it must for certain mean she was looking at me too and I will make some small talk and ask if she wants to go out sometime. But if she doesn’t recognize me it was just my imagination and I should probably keep my mouth shut and save me from embarrassment.
