They are from a math team, they won a contest, just google "math winners" to see how smart people look.

A few years ago, I won a national mathematics competition too. And I've always felt that work ethic matters more than raw intelligence for mathematics competition. They are probably not as smart as you think they are, they are just more interested and diligent in studying mathematics.

Yeah, I too went to some math competition back in school. I thought I was kind of a nerd, but when I saw how those other guys looked like and acted, I realized I was actually a normal person, most of them were like uber-nerds and giga-autistic.
