I think for the average person (normie), they view summer as a time to relax and just chill.

If you’re in school, you’re off (unless you’re stuck in summer classes); people working book vacation during the summer. For the average person, it’s a period to chill a bit and take the foot off the gas.

But I agree the heat can be wretched. And it doesn’t provide much more than any other months… But it’s SUMMER!!
