I look like a fucking subhuman in outside lighting but not so bad in indoor natural lighting when taking a pic

Why is this? When I take pictures indoor I look like a chad, but whenever I go outside and take pictures, my eyebags are visible, nose is big, forehead, skin texture looks terribly bad. How to avoid this and take good pictures outside? Would DSLR camera help?
