I was around 85 kg on 4 January when I started dieting, and today I weighed myself at 75.6 kg. :Okay:

Is it because of the starvemaxxing?

It helped, it made me lose 3.3 kg. But I wasn’t starvemaxxing when I was dieting, I was eating protein-rich food. Slowly, I changed over to OMAD along the way but I forgot when.

I have not done many exercises, I have gone to the gym four times in the beginning of January, but I kind of stopped going in the middle of January due to examinations. As for diet, I was eating protein-rich food at the beginning, such as quark and tuna, and sometimes even burgers. But the weight loss was slow. Then after two and a half weeks, I switched to OMAD, I think. And then last week, I decided to do a six-day fast which really helped, because it made me lose 3.3 kg.

Thanks, uh well I wanna lose as much as I can before the fasting month starts this week. It’s like, two weeks away from now. The lower I can get before that, the better. Because I’ll be gaining considerable weight from having to eat twice a day.

Example of putting the fork down
No need for reta to lose weight
Being disciplined like this is way better

Mogs, just dont become anorexic along the way
Hah thanks, and no worries: this is just temporary. I don’t wanna be in the 50s range. I am going for the 60s range, preferably around 65 kg. But I don’t think I can lose another ~10 kg in just 2 weeks. Unless I fast like I did, but I am done with that.

I agree, I don’t think I need reta or whatever to lose weight. All you need is discipline / willpower.

5 kg in one month is good progress, too. I lost that in 2 weeks, but everyone’s different. Still, I found that too slow for my liking.

My phone doesn’t display .GIF for some reason, must have been due to something in my settings. It just says STAY.

Ahhh, so you only worked out; and you didn’t change your diet? Yeah, I’ve not gone to the gym since mid-January myself.

Believe it or not, but 1000 kcal/day is just me maintaining. South Asian fat-storing genetics are cursed. I know because I was using MyFitnessPal on the recommendation of @decadouche57. I can only lose weight when I live off of 500 kcal/day or less.

Yeah, I think it’s because of South Asian fat-storing genetics being so unfortunate. Most of it goes to our belly.

Yeah crash dieting is the ideal way to lose weight as long as your protein is relatively high and you're not feeling hungry/irritable and sleep is good. Legit 800-1000 calories is all you need. But if you have bad self control it is very likely you will regain weight.

How did you get this knee pain in the first place?

They were chicken burgers but they were meh. I should have stopped after one, but I wanted to finish two today. :FeelsRainMan:

On day 5 of my drinkfasting, I experienced insomnia again. Could barely sleep. Same problem on day 6. Then I ate later that day, and the next night I slept nicely. It really is the lack of food causing me insomnia, so I won’t be doing this again to this extent. Maybe only on the days I wake up very late.

Yes the same thing happens to me. I will just randomly wake up and be unable to go back to sleep. I find that delaying your calories until maybe 2h before bed works best.

Ive had this same injury for a loooong time
It keeps coming back sometimes
It happened because of overloading
But when i got it first it was because of rapid growth spurt combined with overtraining,it was 2024 summer

I prefer chicken burgers over beef

It’s strange, I drinkfasted before and this didn’t really happen. Then again, I didn’t do more than 4 or 5, so perhaps that’s why I didn’t experience it.

I prefer beef burgers, I can imagine all the dindus seething. :Okay:

Also, looks like a recurring injury. You should take some time off. My best friend has dealt with this, and has been the source of depression for him because he wanted to keep excelling at what he did. But it’s better to heal properly before continuing.

I will only fall behind
These are critical ages for my career tbh, after this it becomes too late.Im tryna hop on bpc157 ive even tried to talk my parents about it but they said that i should go to physio instead
They dont know that physio is just a grifter who is tryna make money of me
when i first got injured i went for like 9 months like but all she did was giving me some exercises that i already know
