I used to be an alcoholic and a nice evening was 12 beers. I still enjoy the taste but it takes a lot of mindfulness not to get pissed after even one. For me alcohol is like a stimulant, I get crazy energy and I've zero inhib.

You definitely are. Cut that shit immediately if you're getting drunk and getting into situations that fuck you over. Used to happen to me all the time. I've been thrown out of my holiday rental, got cops called on me and done incredibly low IQ shit when drunk. If I'm drinking and the only place where there is more alcohol is in middle of Sahara you best believe I'd get there somehow. It's pathetic looking back how much time and money I've wasted getting pissed.

I think it's genetic. I come from a long line of alcoholics. Funnily enough as a teen I never enjoyed getting too drunk or drinking solo, but I let myself go in my mid twenties. There's something fascinating about having zero control over your inhibitions and purposely doing dumb shit. I'm self destructive, so that was probably just an outlet for something else. The shame and feelings of wanting to kms after insane antics is never worth it.

Ye ig i got lucky genes (for alch atleast), everyone in my family is a heavy drinker an maybe that's what strayed me off the most, seeing retards party and completely change into what i think they wanted to be but couldn't. And i'm glad u got off the shit's tho man.
