i lowk think thumbpulling works

so you agree with me. as i said you have to do it alot, and have open sutuers.
40-50 kg is not what you need. Palate expander works with 100 gram, and a standard facemask is like 500 grams.
Yes they are more consitent, but thumpulling can aswell Forexample: 5 mins every hour for with 10-20 kg(easy if you go gym) and a longer session while watching tv or something.

As stated palatet expander is not constant.

i see your asymetery concern with , but that wasnt the point of my post. Thats a diffrent discussion.

They are SHIT
How are they shit?

Why apply force at the suture and not the bone itself?
The suture is where the bones have formed together...
You need to loosen the sutures to achieve palate expansion.
These fucking indians bro. :feelscry:

Find me some guy who can hold 10-20kg of pressure for 5 minutes. :ROFLMAO:
You don't know what you're talking about, kid.
Please just end this thread, and stop asking me to reply, I'm not after this.

Orthodontics is almost always about constant pressure. These appliances only work because there's constant pressure, and that you can't take them off whenever you want.

You can break your own bones and try to extend your own legs at home, but it's more complicated than that and there's a reason why there's doctors who specialize in these fields and why a DIY kit from Amazon is probably not going to create the same results.

In theory, you can do a lot of things, but it doesn't matter because humans are not dental appliances. They do things wrong, and there's a lot of reasons why things go wrong. It's why you have constant checkups and why it normally takes over a year.

Nobody is going to do thumb-pulling 'correctly' enough to ever recommend it to such a wide audience. But sure, in theory it may work in very specific circumstances.

You dont need to hold it for 5 min i never claimed that.
lets just say 1hour a day overall. thats not to hard f
You dont even need as much as 10 kg for bones to adapt either it was an example.
Its gonna take a long time

Are you calimng that mewing works though? its also constant

You are not coming with any logic to debunk, and you literally said you agreed
In theory, yeah with enough pressure. But I'm talking 40-50kg (unachievable) of pressure - maybe for 3 hours daily. My worries would be that, as it isn't maintained/contained like how a palate expander is, it could cause assymtery, inhalation/exhalation problems, poor bite etc.
you agree with the theory, but you are objectively wrong about the adaption

Wrong

Thats what I am saying.
As i said also i agree it can cause problems, but thats a diffrent discussion

If you have severe upper theeth crowding, and extremely low imw. why would you not do it. its no loss

How is it wrong? It's how an expander and it's also how braces work. They do not work without constant pressure.

Thats what I am saying.

You're objectively incorrect about 'why would you not do it, it's no loss', because the chances of something going severely wrong is like 98% of the time. Anyone who thinks they're going to be that 2% exception are people who do not understand how the world works.

If you're willing to take such a retarded risk, take the risk of opening up a credit card and putting the cost of treatment on that shit, never pay it off and let it go into collections. At least you'd get your treatment done correctly.

It's not about 'can', it's about what problems and when. You will 100% face an issue. Sometimes it's not the end of the world complication, but it's a joke to think anyone is ever going to successfully going to recreate orthodontics treatments at home like that. Especially not with their fat thumbs. Even people who get their shit done professionally always run into issues.

If you wanna be an idiot then the DIY Amazon kit is better than using your stupid ass fingers. It's dangerous, but it's not as stupid as thinking your thumbs are equally as effective as a damn expander.

numbers you just made up yourself. Logic? What exact problem will you face? be specific.

You both ended up agreeing with me, But you think that everyone is retarded.:feelsautistic:

If you are unable to do it correctly you are obs a fucking retard. Why do ypu think 98% will do it wrong?

Tell me, how will 5kg (at most) of pressure, applied for probably 2 minutes, do anything at all? :feelskek:
Dumbass kids.

@copeminister Debate me instead lilbro.
This is the only "cope" i belive works.

How? Is it not the same thing as thumbpulling but more powerful
its way less force.
Its placed on the theeth not the bone. at your age the theeth will just tip, however it can be efective for children.
i dont think thumbpulling works at 18 either.

I’m confused as to how you say it’s placed on the teeth? It’s placed at the end of the palate where you also do thumbpulling no?

wite whatever you want
Absolutely no proof that it works👍 Several palate appliances that are designed by professionals doesnt even guarantee a noticeable result. Its cope and always will be

Schwarz is great but never buy these off online and do them on your own unless you have some sort orthodontic education

Obs no proof and ik that. I am defending it with logic. You can respond to my arguments with logic.
I am not claiming it will be a garunteed looksmax either. i am saying that bones will adapt.Given the criterias I previously stated
