a 50k funded account is 70 dollars you need to make 52500 to pass the test and you fail if you go below 48500 if we assume when you get in a trade your winning chance is 50 50 that means you will pass the test in funded account 30 percent of the time after you pass you are given a real 50 k account with a maximum loss limit of 1500 again 50 percent chance you make 1500 and 50 percent chance you make 1500 so to go over it again you buy 100 funded accounts for 7000 dollars
you only pass 30 of them and in that 30 you only make 1500 dollars on 15 of them thats 22500 then you repeat it and theortically have infinite money
now can anyone tell me why this wouldnt work

@RJ_ascends

@StuntmanMike borsacı kardeşim işe yarar mı bu sence

I would say it wouldn't work because its a 50/50 win rate with equal profit and loss and doesn't include costs like spreads, commissions and slippage.

And because its 50/50, you might get unlucky and lose a majority of your capital easily.

But good if youre lucky

this is purely mathematical also spreads and commisions doesnt matter because you are making 2250 dollars and losing 700 each time
if you flip a coin 100 times 49 might be tails and 51 times heads ifykwm

gonna bump till i find a good answer

he is into this shit
I agree with that logic, however his knowledge base is on par with many larpers I know and when I just became interested in finance.

Yes, but that assumes you lose and win in a row. It is still possible to lose 5 times in a row before the high numbers kick in

dude i dont understand what you mean if you buy 100 accounts and only pass the test in 30 and make 1500 in 15 thats 22500 vs 7000 if you want even more consistent results just buy 1000 accounts its all mathematical

yea i also think he is a laroer
also im thinking about this since this problem I seen is actually very similar to a programming problem I did when attempting to study for quant im trying to remember tho. I dont want to be the dude who comes and talks shit while not helping but it'll take a min

you think it can wrok?

asked chatgpt and he said it should mathematically work and has no flaws the only problem would be prop firms not paying up

Big companies that do these think about all that 😭 don’t you realize that losing 1500 is easier than making 2500

nigga thats why you win 30 percent of it how stupid are you omg

Maybe, wouldn't the probability of you passing only 30 would be 8.7% chance tho ? I'm not sure if this is fully correct (as in im missing something) since im rusty on math regarding this.

no its actually 37.5 i calculated it also chatgpt approved it and said there was no problem mathematically

why wouldn't binomial distribution work here for getting 8.7%

this doesnt have anything to do with binomail distrubution think simple you can get to 48500 and lose or go to 52500 and you win considering long and short are equal everytime you open a trade your chance of reaching 2500 is 37.5 and losing is 62.5 lets say you do this with 100 accounts and pass 37 (which you will no doubt maybe 36 maybe 38 but somewhere around there) after that they give you a real 50k account that you can lose 1500 dollars max again you open a random trade with a 1500 sl and 1500 tp 50 chance its reaches tp (you dont lose 1500 dollars if you lose thats on the funded accounts side since you passed the test) so lets say 36 accounts for easy math you win 18 of those trades and make 27000 now you originally bought 100 accounts so 27000 - (70x100) 20k profit this should mathematically work over the long term because even casinos win in the long term from games like plinko with a 1 percent edge.
so math wise this strat absouloutely works. only problem is funded account not paying etc but those are all technical problems that can be solved. am i missing something here?

a flaw i realised with this strat is the funded account company or whatever wont allow this since everytime you win like 12k they are losing 10k

mb bro i was reviewing my trades for this week

well the main issue is that in reality the chance of passing is not 50%. statistics show that its <10%, or even less

its 15 percent to win 1500 dollars if you do the math where did you get the numbers

37.5 chance to pass the test then 50 chanve to win 1500 in funded next thats like 16 17 percent mb

well i have no clue i dont use funded accounts

I just use a real brokerage to trade (live account)
