We were together for 13 months, we had such a beautiful relationship, had long conversations every day, celebrated holidays and birthdays together, kissed on new years, went on fun dates, now I see you in class every week and we’re complete strangers. I know you see how much I’ve improved. I know you see me walking around campus with pretty girls. I wish I could have improved myself with you. I wish I could be walking around campus with you. I wish I had the courage to go up to you and say how I feel. You were my first love, I’ve never felt that way about anyone before and I don’t know if I ever will again. I wish we could’ve just talked it out. I go out and put on this confident facade so I can fuck random girls but it doesn’t even make me feel better. It just makes me miss you more. Kaitlin I think about you everyday. There’s nothing I wouldn’t do to be laying in bed with you asleep in my arms, your face in my chest. the other day I smelled the perfume you would always wear and memories of your beautiful face and soft lips against mine filled my brain. Oh well, I guess I’ll just smoke until I can’t even think anymore, like I do every night.
