I miss my high school best friend

His name is Alex and he overdosed and killed himself a few years ago when he was 22. I miss him. We drifted apart after high school and I never kept in touch because I have never been able to maintain any friendship due to my complete apathy towards everything and everyone.

I’ve often thought about reaching out to his sister and offer condolences through the years but never found to courage to because I never really knew her and it would be in bad taste to do so at this point.

Drugs are horrible and suicide is very stupid. There is no point at all in killing yourself
