I miss my youth.

The last summer of Elementary School was the best. I used to hang out with a group of friends in really beautiful city, with a lake etc. We'd play soccer, go visit grave-yards, amusement parks, have amusing petty drama, go to Church, play with the snow etc. You develop a really close relationship with people when you do all of these things and spend that much time with them. After that, people had to go elsewhere for middle school. While we retained some semblence of a relationship, we still just naturally drifted apart due to the lack of promixity. Sure, I made friends after, but none of those friendships were even remotely as special as the ones I had in that summer.
Back then, it felt like I was truly alive and happy with my life. Now, I have to worry about politics, the blackpill, skincare, hairloss, wagecucking, gymcelling and dealing with more responsbilities that come with age.

yea that really hits home man, those are some of my best memories too growing up in a small town like that. the close bonds with friends, the freedom to explore and goof off all summer long... it's definitely something you don't get back once life gets more complicated. what was your absolute favorite thing about those last days of elementary school?
