the edm era only lasted till about 2012 actually .. 2013 is when the trap sound started to take over the charts

also rap music is complete garbage currently it was way better in 90s/early 2000s

this song was a major edm hit in 2012 but it also started the downfall of edm on a mainstream level because it started the edm/trap sound not the true edm sound like it was from 2010-2012

"real" edm was pretty much gone from mainstream by summer 2012 imo
