I miss the time I was a little blissful ignorant subhuman tbh.

Give thots on story and share your blackpilled views too
I don't feel the need to speak on most things tbh unless I found my input to be valuable or feel like what I say makes a contribution.
But for the story in op, I don't get the idea of having pride in being a soldier or a part of a unit. Apart from it being a symbol of strength and the feats you need to perform in order to be accepted being very demanding.
Is there any sort of pride in serving your country?
I remember having this thought as a child, that war or being drafted was undesirable as I see no point in serving my country or the people around and that'd I'd prefer to make efforts to avoid it instead since I value my life, I didn't view it as dignified.
So I never really got it, seems like it was always in my psyche to be a neet that doesn't like to get cucked over or work for somebody or someone else's idea. Anyways I'd like to hear from you what made being part of the military such an appealing idea.

The camaraderie within a unit was a big one for me. As a non-NT autist I could finally bond with people to such a level. I lived with people my age, slept, ate with them etc. Almost closer than even my own family.

There's also generally a strong cultural narrative around service being honorable in countries like the US, India etc because these countries had to fight for centuries to get their independence while in Sweden they never saw war and remained neutral so they don't have a national identity. People grow viewing soldiers as protectors or heroes. I loved the idea of being a hero. A structured path for personal growth was also appealing to me.

I get where you're coming from tho
If you've always valued independence over collective responsibility, it's natural to question such but people have different perspectives. To yoh military represents conformity but for me , it's was a chance to thrive within a larger mission and I wouldn't change a thing and do it all over again if I could.

I recently found an old photo from the enrollment form that I had filled out on my first day while we were receiving our certificates and had our final passing out parade after completing three years in the army. It brought back memories of how happy I was on my first day, getting my ID photo taken for the army records. After passing the rigorous physical, written, and medical tests, I was among the handful of guys to get selected in my uni. I felt an immense sense of pride wearing the uniform for the first time as a cadet. I vividly remember calling my mum and telling her how I had made it in, walking around campus, feeling like I owned the place.

After the parade, my commanding officer personally thanked me for my service and told me I was one of the most hard working and sincere cadets he’d ever worked with. He also lecturerd me about how I had become too bulky and needed to shed some weight. He told me he knew about the high-paying offers I’d received from companies but told me that if I ever wanted to return to the army, they’d welcome me back with open arms. He said he’d love to see me in an officer’s uniform someday, maybe even as his commander in the Jatt regiment. We shared a farewell lunch, exchanged numbers. I gave him a last and final salute 🫡 before we left.

why do you look much darker on recent pics? if I didn't know you're Indian I'd thought you were half-black Latino or something

I guess you're somewhere between MTN and HTN, you're definitely not subhuman... it's probably colorism in India that holds you back

Because in the those pics in that rating thread I have a tan and it wasn't taken with a flash on while the one in OP was taken with flash and I don't have a tan there. Do I look mixed in OP too?

He has ascended eveb more after this. Legit looks like a HTN BBC. He just needs to move to the west and LARP as black and he will slay.
