I like the optimism of people and corporations that was reflected in the design of products in the early 2000s. I believe Microsoft and Gates, at the time, genuinely wanted to help make the world a better place. I remember Windows XP being top-notch in terms of functionality- easy to navigate, with a user-friendly interface, easily distinguishable icons, and a working search engine. I could find the most random things just by typing the first few letters.


Windows 10 and 11, on the other hand? I can’t even find basic stuff like a picture inside a folder on my C: drive- it just gives me web results. Windows 11 is pretty much a bloated, spyware-ridden, minimalist piece of garbage.
