I'm done with WoW. I play League but I need something else, a competitive game with a strong community. Any recommendations? I was considering Destiny 2.

man I wish I could have properly participated in WOW vanilla raiding back in 2006.

Once you done the experience you can never relive it again.

Wow Classic was enjoyable at the start too, but it's ruined by goldsellers and GDKP's now. I never played OG wow but I wish I did.

Rocket League is fun and you can easily play for a thousand hours before you get bored.

WOW vanilla was NOTHING like any other game. The combat interferface was just years ahead and guess what no mMMORg game still competes with WOWs combat system.

The problem with the human mind is that when u experience something for too long u get bored of it...even if its a variation of the original.

Wow IMO still a good game but the spark is just gone

wait for modern warfare 2 to come out

Did you play overwatch in its prime? Great game
Yes but on PC. Absolutely unparalleled shooter, nothing will come close to prime overwatch imo.
I played Winston/Roadhog for tanks and Junkrat/Mei DPS
Not enough flashing lights and colors to keep my zoomer brain sedated

Yeah this is one of the ones I was considering, I feel like it's a bit gneeric/to ostraightforward though. Like iwth League there's dozens of different play styles and strategies, same with WoW.

Cyberpunk is good after all the changed imo. Try out Elden Ring too, very fun game I managed to beat all the bosses.
It seems fun and high skill but not as flashy and bright colored as the zoomer games I usually play, I'll try it though

It used to be. The only games I used to by from stores were the Pokemon games on release day. I miss waiting in line at the mall to pick up my copy...

Do you play WoW rn too? I raided Castle Nathria then stopped after, game was too cancer. I played Windwalker and Mistweaver monk

He should learn to aim

The gameplay loop is straightfoward. Hit ball in the net and don't let ball hit net.

You don't need classes, your playstyle is your class. Everyone is equal, but that's what makes it fun IMO.

Of course, you first need to be able to move the car properly, trust me, that's like learning to ride a bicycle, but with an unlimited skill ceiling. You'll be able to clearly see yourself improving for at least 800 hours before you start getting diminishing returns.

Once you have learned to move the car, it's all a mental battle. Now I know it sounds corny when it's car football, but that's really what it is. It isn't about stats and skills, it's not just about skills(properly moving your car), it's about knowing your opponent, reading them, predicting them, adapting to them. Really any PvP is like this, but I feel like rocket league is especially good with his. I mostly play 1v1, but there's tons of teamplay to be found in the team modes, tho, once you get a teammate you where you both just clicks it kinda just flows as you ascend the ranks.

Really what I'm trying to say, is that the psychological back and forth in this game feels unparralled to me, despite being fucking car football, I love the constant adapting, and seeing your skills grow day by day. Feels good to put words on it, sry for the rant.

Well, be prepared for the first
~10 hours being learning just how to balance on the bicycle and how the pedals work.
~50 hours you can ride the bicycle without falling off
~100 hours you can start using the bike properly. You've figured out how all of your actions impact you. But you're not ready to go mountainbiking quite yet...
Really this metaphor died at the second point, but, you don't really get to experience the psychological back and forth until you're able to ride the bike properly. I have some classmates that started rocket league, and tho they both only have ~100 hours they're playing in like 2 ranks above where their mechanics (skill at moving car) are due to superb teamwork and gamesense. So you can do it, but you will experience a lot of getting outplayed simply because your opponents have better mechanics, not because they outsmarted you.

I'd recommend playing against AI until you can play to where you can score some goals against allstar bots. Or you can just go straight into multiplayer, but at that complete noob rank the matchmaking is a bit fucked.

ALSO, do play the first 10 hours with some friends, you never get to experience that once you're past it, and it's really great fun. Just like how you'll never not be able to ride a bicycle after learning it.
