I need better lung capacity

I'm an excellent sprinter and jumper but one thing I lack is keeping up high speed for a long period of time I can walk and hike miles easily but running them is hard for me not because my legs get tired the rarely do it's because my lungs capacity is short do to my short torso and narrow chest
