I need help with starting conversations

i’ll just get straight to the point so me and my girl have been together for 3 weeks, and she complains that i don't talk to her enough and its always her starting the conversations, but i genuinely wanna talk to her i just don't know what to actually say, the average day is wake up text her goodmorning, she’ll reply with goodmorning, nothing for the next 5 or so hours then she will say “i miss you” and it goes on from there, i'm actually mad at myself i js wish i could talk to people normally and yes i do ask her how her day was but it just feels awkward as fuck but when we actually do get in a real conversation which is rare we both enjoy it
